- replaced faulty AIR TEMP/PH sensor (HMP45A -> HMP155A)
- replaced faulty LEAF WETNESS (standard sensor - "leaf0")
- It appears the rain gauge obstruction may have been
removed. Unexplained precipitation that was reported
has since been removed from the database.
- annual maintenance and weed removal
- unplugged precipitation bucket
- replaced leaf wetness sensors
- replaced wind instruments
- loaded logger program "mawn_abcf" (hourly collection cycle)
- replaced logger battery
- loaded logger program "mawn_abcw"
- moved data-collection to new LoggerNet server
- loaded logger program "mawn_abcf"
- replaced faulty wind vane
- Replaced Anemometer (Wind Speed Sensor)
- Due to faulty sensor, wind speed data marked as "missing"
for following time period:
01/13/2013 (d=013) 2125 - 06/25/2013 (d=176) 0905
- Replaced Modem
- Due to recent sensor failure (e.g. ATMP/RH), all AMTP and
RH data reported durng the following time period were marked
as "missing":
08/22/2011 (d=234) 0140 - 09/09/2011 (d=252) 1415
- Air Temp/RH has been reporting "junk" since early in the
day on 08/22/2011. Upon investigation, it was determined
that the TEMP/RH sensor had become disconnected. Proper
connection/installation at 2:15pm this afternoon.
- Old CR10 datalogger was replaced with a CR10X
- Installed new battery
- Installed new power-supply
- MAWN program (ABCF) reloaded
- As of 03/02/2010 (d=061) at 13:00, station is back
online. However, due to recent logger failure data
was lost and is not available for the following time
period:
02/13/10 (d=044) 0605 - 03/01/10 (d=060) 1120
- Faulty Temp/RH data was introduced into the MAWN
database prior to sensor replacement. Temp/RH
values that were recorded during the following
time period were marked as "missing":
09/08/09 (d=251) 00:40 - 09/11/09 (d=254) 10:35
- Faulty Temp/RH Sensor was replaced.
- Precipitation bucket was cleared.
- General station maintenance and system checks, including:
- Temp/RH sensor replacement
- Tipping-bucket rain gauge test.
- Loaded MAWN Program - ABCF (60-minute power cycle) [0003]
- Several recent hardware changes have not corrected the
communication trouble at Hudson. Sensor and logger
upgrade may be necessary.
*** The Hudson station will be down indefinitely **
- Replaced power supply
- Added 2nd battery
- Replaced modem
- Due to the recent hardware failure, data was lost for
the following time period:
04/18/08 (d=109) 22:05 - 04/23/08 (d=114) 11:00
- Datalogger was replaced for the second time this week
(early logger was not collecting any useful data). As
of 11:05, the replacement logger was collecting data.
- Will need to keep an eye on things for a few days to
determine if the replacement is working properly. Also,
need to monitor to determine if replacement of solid-state
relay continues to improve the "power-glitch" issue.
- Due to the logger replacements this week, data was
lost for the following time period:
04/05/08 (d=096) 21:05 - 04/18/08 (d=109) 11:00
- Removed several data entries from raw data archive
and MAWN database that were introduced due to the
apparent short-circuiting issue that would sometimes
occur when the wireless modem was powered-on.
Due to the power issue, several data entries during
the following time period where faulty and were
removed from the data archive:
Aug 10, 2007 - Feb 22, 2008
Additional entries may need to be removed depending
on the results of the solid-state relay that was
installed on 02/23/2008.
- Installed Solid-State Reply which will hopefully
correct short-circuit issue that occasionally
seems to occur when the wireless modem is powered
on.
- Loaded MAWN Program: MAWN_ABCF (1-hr power cycle) [15:37]
- Communication converted to broadband cell-modem:
- Broadband Cell modem installed.
- Datalogger Program "mawn_abcs" Loaded and Compiled
- Data Collection Configured To Upload Every 30 minutes.

- Work was done approx: 18:20 - 18:45 (Day=152)
- Several bad data values due to faulty TEMP/RH sensor were
reported between 07/23/05 - 10/26/05 (the faulty sensor
was replaced on 10/26/05). All of the incorrect TEMP/RH
values have since been corrected or marked as "missing".
- Replaced Temperature/Relative Humidity Sensor (HMP45C).
