- Network connection at Stephenson has been repaired. Station
is back online.

- Recent thunderstorm has knocked-out internet connectivity
at the Stephenson station. The network at Stephenson
should be back up later in the week or early next week.

- Recent telecommunication troubles that prevented proper
data collection has been repaired. Data is once again
being collected and updated to the MAWN database.
- Due to the telecommunication outage, data for the following
time period has been lost:
03/19/07 (Day=78) 08:35 CDT - 04/28/07 (Day=118) 17:50 CDT
: Station Maintenance (sm)
- Communications between the data-collection PC and the
data-logger on the weather station had been out for
several weeks. Replacement of the short-haul modem
components corrected the trouble. Unfortunately,
uncollected data was lost for the following time
period:
10/04/05 (Day=277) 18:35 CDT - 10/16/05 (Day=289) 16:30 CDT
: Data Quality Note
- It was determined that the clock on the Stephenson MAWN
station slowly drifted and was reporting incorrectly for
most of the winter. Because of the incorrect clock, the
observation times of the data reports are in error.
- The clock was corrected on 04/10/2005.
- Prior to the correction (Nov 2004 - April 09, 2005), the
observation times may be off by several hours. Eventually,
all data with incorrect time stamps will either be corrected
or removed from the MAWN database.
