- Modem was showing signs of inconsistent behavior, so that was
also replaced.
- Battery had failed and was also replaced. Due to the battery
failure, data for the following time period was lost:
Day=329 (11/25/05) 18:15 - Day=334 (11/30/2004) 10:35

- Replaced Temperature/Relative Humidity Sensor.
It was determined that the Temp/RH sensor at the West Olive
station has slowly drifted toward higher readings. The drift
can be traced back to August 2004. Air Temperature and
Relative Humidity readings between August 2004 - April 13, 2005
are not completely accurate and eventually may be removed from
the MAWN database.

Data Code: 24, field #: 36, value = 6999
Data Code: 24, field #: 37, value = 6999
Data Code: 24, field #: 38, value = 6999
- Clean-Up Faulty Data. Leaf Wetness Sensors were tested
at 1:40pm on May 30 (Day=150). Marked the following as
"dry" (value=6999):
Five Minute Data:
Day=150, Time=1340, Field 5 (value=6999)
Day=150, Time=1340, Field 6 (value=6999)
Hourly Data:
Day=150, Time=1400, Field 16 (value=0)
Day=150, Time=1400, Field 17 (value=0)
- NOTE: Since new program was loaded at approximately 4:15pm
on 05/30/2001, Daily totals and Max/Min values that
are calculated by the datalogger were reset to the
time the new program was loaded.
: Field Maintanence
- Moved and Reburied Soil Temperatures. Also installed a
third sensor - installed in SW quadrant of station:
Soil A: 2-inches under bare soil, W of S leg, N of Soil B
Soil B: 4-inches under bare soil, W of S leg, S of Soil A
Soil C: 12-inches under bare soil, W of S leg, S of Soil B

Soil Moisture B: 10" depth, E of S leg, facing south
- Added Leaf Wetness Sensors:
Leaf A: Standard: NE leg fence post. 1 meter high
Leaf B: Selected Canopy: Shrubs end of NE leg. 14" high
- Loaded New Datalogger Program: mawn1wo
Program: mawn1wo
Time (approx): 4:15pm, Day 150 (5/30/2001)
- Needs:
Data Cleanup: Adding third soil temperature probe
required the loading of a modified
version of "mawn1b".
The new program is called "mawn1wo"
and the following new fields were added:
Hourly: Soil Temp C
Daily: Max Soil Temp C,
Time of Max Soil Temp C,
Min Soil Temp C,
Time of Min Soil Temp C
MAWN database table for West Olive will
need be modified and rebuild. Also,
"decoder" which produces pre-generated
reports will need to be modified.
Reinstalling soil temperature and soil
moisture probes and adding/testing leaf
wetness grida most likely introduced
faulty data - rawdata will need to be
corrected.
: Data Cleanup
- Updating Program to MAWN1B on 01/29/2001 reset all max/min
and totalling buffers on datalogger. Needed to repair some
