- Recent telecommunication problems (faulty cell-modem)
have been corrected. Cell modem was replaced last
night (d=276) and data-collection resumed this
afternoon (d=277).
- Communication converted to broadband cell-modem:
- Broadband cell-ip modem installed
- Datalogger progam "mawn_aacs" loaded and compiled.
- Battery voltage now reported every hour.
- Data collection configured to upload every 30 minutes.
- General station maintenance and system checks.
- Work was done approx: 13:00 - 13:30 (Day=142)
- General Station Maintenance and System Checks:
- weed removal and application of Round-Up above soil temps
- cleaned Air Temp/Relative Humidty sensor
- check Anemometer/Wind Vane
- cleaned Precipitation bucket
- The Temperature/Relative Humidity Sensor (HMP45C)
failed on May 14, 2004 and was replaced at 14:35
today (Day 143).
- The anemometer and tipping bucket rain gauge
were damaged due to strong winds on 02/20/2004.
Today, the anemometer and the funnel to the
rain gauge were replaced.
- Wind Speed and Precipitation data were not
accurate prior to today and the were marked
as missing for the following time period:

- Datalogger error (E08) codes were reading 99.
Counters were reset back to 00. This action
will hopefully resolve and/or prevent brief
data outages observed on some data loggers
when the error count reaches 99.
Notes:
- leaf wetness B (canopy):
